I received an email with the above URL, but couldn't find anything else on the Web to confirm it as real or a hoax. Has anyone else heard or read anything about the above article?

No, but it is certainly interesting. Maybe scholars should look there for traces of the wanderings of Moses that they say they can't find evidence of.

Furthermore, and to the Almighty's dismay, even a local vegan group refuses to eat the manna, based on their uncertainty as to whether or not the divine gift contains eggs. I suppose we could assume that the reporter has communicated with the Almighty God...

If this story is true, then I will eat my Manna-Hat!! Actually, if you do a little digging in the site, they will tell you the stories are mostly made up - of course. They are a satirical site but I did not take the time to figure out if they are being mean about it or just trying to be funny.

Evidently it's meant to be humor, although I confess I don't see the point of the joke. The names of some real biblical scholars are taken in vain.

Some members, who presume the bread does contain eggs, are leading demonstrations and petitioning other townsfolk to "not eat from God?s plate of animal cruelty." There are no words...

You can't possibly think this is for real, can you?
Then again, I've seen articles in religious goofball magazines and websites that are hardly better.
