Welcome aboard to Kevin McCullough. He says in his column, "Up until recently I have been willing to cut folks like Schumer and Durbin a break and believe that they were simply wrong on many of the issues that I disagreed with them on. But the days have changed. They along with Senator's Kerry and Lieberman seem intent on opposing Christianity in its purest form. And for this they move from the realm of the wrong to the realm of the evil" ["Democrats vs. Christians: A 2004 Senatorial Referendum," October 27]. This is the awful question that all conservative Republicans must face with respect to most of today's Democrat leadership - are they stupid or are they corrupt/evil/whatever? I use the word "awful," because the implications of deciding that they are not stupid are fearsome implications to behold. Take Clinton's foreign policy. Most Republicans look back and shake their heads in wonderment with how "stupid" Clinton was in the foreign policy arena. Even recent books on the subject can't face the awful truth - Clinton is not a stupid man. Accordingly, just what corruption/evil was he attempting to bring about? I'll leave that answer for another time, since... That's past history now. More importantly, what corruption/evil are all nine Democratic candidates for President trying to bring about right now when they constantly attempt to undercut President Bush and his foreign policy? Just how do they think that the little terrorists all over the world are supposed to assess events such as the recent Democrat candidate debate when they see the event on their TV on CNN in some Baghdad hovel? There was pure corruption/evil to behold during that debate. Maybe one or two of those nine candidates are stupid people, but not all nine.

I must disagree. Democrats aren't that stupid and not intentionally evil. Democrats/Liberals think more emotionally than logically. Liberals love to believe they are higher thinkers, but they rarely consider the results of their arguements. Just look at Iraq. What possible good could come out of pulling out at this time? It would be a total disaster. Liberals are just responding to the emotion of hearing about dead soldiers, but aren't really thinking the whole situation through.
Of course Democrats are evil. All statists are evil. This comes as surprise to who? Not only are they evil, but cynical power hungry hypocrites too. When you look at upChuckie Schemer, Hitlery, Henry Waxman, Diane Swineslime, etc. you are looking at people who are trying to become Fidel Castro, Pol Pot or Joseph Stalin.
I think that most democratics constituents are evil too. When they vote themselves a bigger slice of your tax dollars, they know where the money comes from. They just don't have the courage to rob you in person (well most of them don't).
The typical dem on the street may be emotionally driven, but the XXX42/Hitlery/Terry McAwful wing of the party are coldly driven by power. They play on the emotions of those they sucker into voting for them, but I really don't think that the leadership is swayed by those emotions.
There are too many situations where they could do what is right (or Right) to aid those they claim to cry for, but they do the opposite because it helps them more. For example, school vouchers would aid the children the claim to love so much. However, vouchers would reduce teachers' union power and educate the masses who they would rather keep uneducated and dependant.
If you haven't read Ann Coulter's book "Treason" and Mona Charen's book, "Useful Idiots" you really should. How is it that communist spies and agents were allowed to run rampant in FDR's adminstration as well as Truman's?? We don't like to consider where all this evidence leads us, because it is scary.
Those voting for many of the Democrat candidates are really the "useful idiots".
I am convinced the direction the democrats have been taking us for many, many years even back beyond FDR's time is down the path of the communist/socialist agenda.
Durbin is a Catholic-But.
Yeah, if you nail it down to talking about the Clintons and their minions, their absolute hunger for power is evil.
