"...You have a choice as a U.S. citizen to refuse treatment," Schiavo added. ..."
Well, Mr. Schiavo has stated his beliefs on National TV.
I say "fine" If he is ever in the same condition as Terri, his stated wishes should be honored.
The problem here is that he and his family are the only witnesses that Terri had the same wishes. Well anyone can change their mind when actually placed in that position. How many have said something similar until circumstances change their mind? Since there is no written will from Terri herself, this may not have been anything more than an offhand remark. Until otherwise proven, Choose life. The alternitive is irreversible.

It wasn't until Michael retained the services of attorney Felos that he "remembered" Terri's comments. Note too that he has given instructions that Terri is to be cremated immediately upon her death. Payment for the cremation has been taken from the funds allocated for her rehabilitation. What a guy!
You are absolutely right! When in doubt, choose life.

"The problem here is that he and his family are the only witnesses that Terri had the same wishes." Yes, and Michael testified in a trial in 1993, after he got the money, that he refused to give Terri anti-biotics for a bladder infection because, and I quote: "I don't believe that Terri would want to live like this"
