Attorney Richard Pearse was appointed (1998), and he issued a report to Judge Bruce Boyer. . . Pearse said Michael Schiavo was not a credible witness to his wife's end-of-life wishes. . .also noted that Michael Schiavo would benefit financially from her death and be able to move on with his life. . .After the report was issued, Felos attacked it and Pearse, and asked that Pearse be removed. Boyer complied.

I remember reading a slightly different account in which Pearse asked either to be given more authority to look out for Terri's best interests or to be dismissed as Terri's GAL. Does anyone else remember that?

You are quoting one (and only one) original news source that
says BOYER had GAL Pearse removed. That source was
Chicago Tribune. Most other sources say Greer had Pearse removed.
