Did you listen to Sean Hannity today .. he had Congressman King from Long Island call in and discuss how things have changed in Iraq .. then he mention a soldier that was quiet thru the whole tour but then at the end came over to King and said that the american media had the blood of our soldiers on their hands because of the way they choose to report the news

Holy Mackeral!! BUMP for the soldiers 100% accurate assessment of the media's complicity in a campaign to purposely disillusion the public about our guys and our President.

ABC radio, this morning at the 8am EST news broadcast flat out lied about what the President said.

they said that almost 114 had died in hostile fire since the President "said it was over." These people are soooo dishonest .

Maybe somebody who's a real news junkie should start collecting the lies of the press about Iraq, the way Ragtime Cowgirl doessuch a beautiful job collecting the positive news.

"The war on terror is not over; yet it is not endless. We do not know the day of final victory"

,,,then he [Congressman King] mentioned a soldier that was quiet thru the whole tour but then at the end came over to King and said that the american media had the blood of our soldiers on their hands because of the way they choose to report the news ...

*****

This needs to be said often, especially after any appearance by a Dem presidential aspirant.

President Bush's speeches are easy to understand. His sentences have a point; they do not ramble and waffle like the words of the previous president.

He particularly called Operation Iraqi Freedom the "battle of Iraq." The war is against those who use terror to hurt others. It is not against a country.

Media types who make their living using words CAN understand these distinctions, but just like the way, in 1994, they could not bring themselves to say "Contract with America" usually saying "Contract ON America" they refuse to recognize what President Bush actually says in his speeches.

"The only things that said "Mission Accomplished" was the banner that the sailors put up, "

===

And it IS a true statement. The MISSION of REMOVING SADDAM and FREEING IRAQ WAS ACCOMPLISHED.

The only things that said "Mission Accomplished" was the banner that the sailors put up, those who had been at sea for many many months. I'm sure the Dems wil find a way to say GWB ordered the banner

And so what if he ordered the banner? Their mission was accomplished

Verrry good! That needs to be sent to talk radio and every local news station and newspaper. (The conventional media knows this but is trying to ignore it.)

President Bush's speeches are easy to understand.

For sure. And at his Tue. news conference, he made it clear that we are not going to be abandoning Iraq until they have a functioning democracy. He was also clear about what we have to do (train police, army, security guards, etc.) and what they have to do (write a Constitution, have elections, etc.).
That sounds like a plan to me. Not one where you can set a date certain, but one you can measure.

And yet the Dems rail that he has no plan, or is a miserable failure. Without any alternative.
Are they dumb? Or are we as dumb as they think we are?

We have difficult work to do in Iraq.

So the adults will do it, while the Dem weenies will wimp out.

Lol! I didn't do anything original except to add the Dem's familiar refrain to a list from the Coalition Provisional Authority.

I couldn't do this alone. But you knew that. (^:
