A little reality from President Reagan versus the unreal phonies claiming to be the only real conservatives in America.

The "real concervatives" on FR are the inverse of the liberals who are trying to smear Reagan on CBS.

Both sides distort his legacy for their own selfish political purposes and cling to it for dear life, IMO.

Dane, with all due respect, rather than putting down people with legitimate criticisms of the president, perhaps a better strategy would be to research the Assault Weapons Ban, do some soul searching, hopefully reverse your opinion on it, and then work your tail off in persuading the House NOT to let it get to Bush's desk. If it doesn't get to his desk, I GUARANTEE you Bush will be reelected. Mark my words.
