Thought this link might be helpful for out-of-staters looking for info on where loved ones live in CA.
The map's from orbit tracks made 10-27 AM, so old. But it's got the names of the fires on it! I got the map ferom a local (Detroit) news website & can't update it from the link provided. Sorry.
Warning for dialup users (like me)-- it loads huge.
PS I am incredibly grateful to the freepers that gave me a CA geography lesson yesterday, putting my mind at ease & telling me when I should worry -- if the San Bernardino fires got to Ontario. Did I read somewhere that the fires did reach Ontario today?
Constant prayers for all SoCal freepers & their loved ones.
There was a small "brush fire" at the corner of Limonite and I-15 which I passed on the way to Lake Elsinore from Pasadena today...about 4 pm...they were out with dozers trying to bury it...who knows what caused it...
It looks like this is the page to access the most recent map.
