This is a little bit of humor for the night. A tree called Old Glory where some environmentalists tried to keep the tree from being taken down in Pico Canyon is now near to the path of the fire. Some guy lived in the tree for awhile trying to prevent a road from going through. Some people evacuating from that area told the reporter that it would be ironic if the tree they wanted to save is lost in the fire.

I initiated something like that once - the phone was ringing off the hook within 1 minute from fellow employees wondering what kind of tricks I was performing with the grid. I quickly undid what I had done! :)
