Tinfoil. I'll say it again. Tinfoil.
I'm from SoCal - San Gabriel Valley, 20 miles east of L.A.
We've ALWAYS had firebugs. They come out of the woodwork during Santa Ana wind conditions. These arsonists might be freelancers, copycats, or ELF useful idiots, but they are sure to be HOMEGROWN terrorists.
By the way, we SAW your thread. Quit the self-promo.

There was a photo of Chuck Henry I think in Sunday's thread, fire darn near right next to him and at his feet...he's showboating Geraldo style, and not using good sense.

I will continue to tell people that this was a terrorist attack. I don't care if some people prefer to put their heads in the sand and burn. That is their problem, not mine.
I told you people over a year ago that this exact event would occur. You did not listen and you did not prepare for this. That is your problem, not mine.
You still want me to go away and you do not want to discuss the larger picture. I am very concerned about the larger picture. I am concerned about next year and fires in other areas, such as Northern California. I believe the best way to solve this terrorist arson situation is to speak about it. I will not be deterred by people who tell me to stop talking about it.

Perhaps you should start a thread dedicated to that subject. You've tried many times here and no one's biting.

I agree it is a persons right either way and the govt has no biz dictating who stays or who goes. If someone wants to die and leave their children to possibly save their house, more power to them. I wouldn't do that though. Me being DEAD and my wife and children still without a home temporarily makes no sense to me.
I WOULD die protecting my FAMILY from danger be it a criminal or fire.
A criminal assault on me or my FAMILY is entirely different than a fire assaulting my home. I put my family above my home at all times. I don't expect the police to ever be available for anything. They are useless in So Cal. That's why my wife and I are armed at all times.
I built my home once, I could build it again. I don't expect the fire dept to do anything more than put out fires. They are not there to protect homes or save peoples asses when they are in too deep. They are there to put out fires as fast as possible.

OK, Silas. We're ALL concerned that it's a terrorist attack, OK? IF you've been on these threads these past few days, you'd see that was discussed.
This thread is for the release of information regarding the fires. People are dead and dying. Not mine, but a LOT of homes are either lost now or in danger of being lost.
The news stinks.
We have this.
PLEASE start a thread. A new one. I guarantee you, you'll have people over there discussing it.

Do you think that the dems will re-elect DiFi?
Eventually the policies of the left are exposed for all to see. We can only hope and pray that the fires are put out quickly and the recovery begins.
Electricity will be while but thankfully the weather is not extreme.

You are short sighted. If you had paid attention to me a year ago, then you may not have this current problem.
I am concerned about today but also tomorrow. Your attitude will not help the situation next year. You will never look ahead or behind but only at what is happening right now. I am more analytical than that. I see the big picture and I will continue to address it. I do not want to go through this year after year, always with small minded victims telling me to stop talking.
