We've ALWAYS had firebugs. They come out of the woodwork during Santa Ana wind conditions. These arsonists might be freelancers, copycats, or ELF useful idiots, but they are sure to be HOMEGROWN terrorists.

Why are you so sure? I agree that the possibilties are many (ELF, copycats, regular old pryos, etc.), but discounting Islamic terrorists is a bit naive. Remember the D.C. sniper case? Most everyone was so damn sure that it was a couple of homegrown white guys in a white van, and it turned out to be a couple of black Muslims in a blue Caprice.

Let's just wait and see.
