I tried to find out more about this society, but there wasn't much. It looks like it is just a Greek organization, but I didn't realize how many of these types of organizations are out there.

Evidently Greeks use these societies to find other Greeks doing business and to find potential employers. They have their own Hellenic Business Directory to target other influential Greeks.

Both of those Greek guys have been called by a Greek Orthodox priest on the web site WWW.OrthodoxyToday.org , fallen sons of the Greek Orthodox Church.
