Go! Natural is touted in advertising as a top-notch product for dogs and cats that boasts one of the highest meat contents of any pet foods. It retails for $42.99 for a 30-pound bag.

Why not just buy the dogs real steak for that price?

You've got that right----large family size pkgs of ground beef would be cheaper and dogs like it better.

The only thing I feed my dogs is ground beef/venison and the occasional eggs. The eggs and beef are quite inexpensive at Costco. It's the best thing for them (they are carnivores!). They also eat our wild grasses when they feel the need and every now and then the actually catch a cottontail on the property. I brush their teeth once a month or so but they get knucklebones to chew on. My vet says I have the heatlhiest dogds in his practice. Dogs don't need peas and carrots and food dyes.

There are a growing number of breeders who will not sell a dog to anyone who does not promise to feed the purebreed pooch nothing but raw meat.

Why buy dogfood at any price? My dog eats what I eat. I like my dog and would never consider feeding him bagged crap!
