The only thing I feed my dogs is ground beef/venison and the occasional eggs. The eggs and beef are quite inexpensive at Costco. It's the best thing for them (they are carnivores!). They also eat our wild grasses when they feel the need and every now and then the actually catch a cottontail on the property. I brush their teeth once a month or so but they get knucklebones to chew on. My vet says I have the heatlhiest dogds in his practice. Dogs don't need peas and carrots and food dyes.

Do you prepare the meat, or do you just thaw, dump it out of the styrofoam into the dish, stir in an egg, and let the dog have at it? I've often wondered whether the Dread Boston Salty might do better with real meat like that, instead of Science Diet.
