north east of Escondido were evacuated to Escondido High school. Anywhere between Bear Valley pkwy and San Pasqual/Clover Dale is mandatory evacuated.

Local radio is reporting evacuations underway right now near Eagle Crest Golf Club, eastside of Escondido. KOGO 600 AM Radio.

Does that include Escondido?

I'm in Escondido. Except for a small area in the extreme northeast corner of the city, and the subdivision above the Wild Animal Park, we should be okay. The above two areas are a little touch-and-go at the moment, but we've got a lot of resources there.

The primary problem for Escondido residents at the moment is the smoke. Winds are way down, and moisture's up a bit.
