There are two Cal Polys. I went to the one in Pomona.

From the KTLA website (also a Tribune asset)
"Our hearts go out to you," Davis told evacuees who stayed overnight at San Bernardino International Airport. "I know what it's like to have to leave your home." Davis was referring to the 1994 Northridge earthquake, which damaged his West Hollywood condominium.
But he really meant the governor's house.

Anything new? The fire information line as of 3:30 Am said the Crestline fire has jumped the 18 just below the Cliffhanger restaurant.

I heard them yelling for reinforcements for a fire at Skyland & Rockview (516-J4 in thomas guide if I heard right) -- would that be it?

I don't have my TB out, but that looks about right, given the map in post #14, this thread. Are you an evacuee?

'we're punching a line along baldy road' just now
'up lytle creek it's gotten active, they're letting it burn back into structures' to keep it from advancing

The only link I have to an online radio (cover San Diego area) is this:
760 KFMB To get updated on CHP site, for all over California, go here: CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL
I have to go to work today (in about an hour), so I won't be able to update at all until I get home after 5pm (EST).

I registered, and it still doesn't come up on my machine. It probably senses the incredibly slow connection...
To: Conservative4Ever
I didn't catch any hulabaloo about "crossing over 18," did you?
