I saw a lot of Devore footage on television about an hour ago. It looks horrible. All I heard about it was that the FF's hands are mostly tied at this point. :/

Last report from Devore that I heard was that it was encroaching on buildings in that area. They had tried to contact the owner of one of the gas stations as per a police report. Other than that, have heard nothing new.

What the heck is that? (Throwing monitor in trash and replacing it?----yes, I thought about that, but I just had to spend money on a plane ticket for my daughter to come out for Christmas.....that was first, monitor is second.......and it's driving me crazy in the meantime)!

Before you trash the monitor, grab the monitor cable and wiggle it. Grab it near the monitor and give it a light tug to the left, then the right, then up and then down. Do the same at the computer end. And, by all means, make sure that it is plugged in tight to the computer. Bad cables can cause loss of some colors.

After that, make an attempt to find a freeper in your area that has an older monitor. I'm almost certain that you should be able to pick up a used 15" monitor for $20 or less.

Scarborough Country just did an interview with a Seirra Geek and a Pro Bush innitiative.

Seirra geek says if people would have just cleared the fuel around their house....ya right

They showed a clip of Bush from months ago saying this needs to be addressed due to live, property, wildlife ect already. The pro Bush way to go guy said the Environuts keep locking up any solution with constant litigation.

Lake Arrowhead is/was beautiful area. It's one of my fave escapes from the rat race. It looks bad that's for sure. I heard talk at one FS today they were considering backfiring there to try and save it. Tough call, if the fie turns you burn down the town for nothing.
