Dang! What was the demographics of the audience? It seems Sharpton got all the good lines and applause, but all the talking heads said Dean won. I suppose a great deal of the audience was black?

The democraphics were interesting.

I would say that it was mostly black. The whites were union members. There was also a large contingent of Arabs for pandering.

From what I understand, tickets were given to City and State Employees, the UAW, AFL-CIO, and Teachers Union. So obviously it was stacked.

It was a great event for people watching. People were from everything from jeans and t-shirts to sequins and furs. The audience around me was pretty rowdy and mouthy. They were loud with their comments. I did promise my friend that I would be quiet and respectful, and taking notes did keep me from blowing my stack, but around 8:30 or so I couldn't take it anymore and did start pointing out the lies.

I am glad I didn't have a stroke or didn't simply explode. One good thing about this experience is that it demonstrated to me how fractured the dems are, but how solid they would be with Hillary.

They hate Bush. That's their party platform.

They love Clinton. Kerry's line of " If you liked Clinton you will love Kerry" was a big crowd pleaser.

When the politican hags, I mean women of Michigan arrived, Granholm, Stabenow and Kilpatrick, the audience went nuts. This is the same reaction I saw when I in filtrated the Hillary crowd. They want a woman and they want one so badly. Personally I don't understand it since Hillary is evil, but I am of the opinion that many people don't think before they vote.
