PRAYER REQUEST - FREEPER SANDYEGGO - FIRE LINE APPROACHING HER CA HOME

Just received a freepmail from Sandyeggo. She writes:
"We have VERY BAD fire conditions - low humidity, winds. Fire about 4-5 miles away - evacuations taking place there. We are OK - but ash everywhere and winds gusting all over the place. Sky glowing orange - billowing smoke. "
Please say a prayer for Sandyeggo and her family, as well as her parents who live nearby.

I received some pictures from Max McGarrity last night taken from his house - at that time they were still under "voluntary" evacuation - I haven't spoken with him yet this morning.

Heavenly Father, I pray that You would calm the winds and halt the progress of this destruction. Strengthen those who hold the line between fire and homes .. may they be successful, Lord. O God, if it is true that one person is the cause of this devastation, bring that one to justice, I pray. Bind up the broken hearts of those who have lost loved ones because of this ... who have lost everything in this ... Lord, may there be an outpouring of help for those so greatly in need, in the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen ..

I'm in La Mesa, high up with a view towards Mt. Helix -- the smoke is incredible! I feel helpless, all I can do is pray. With the Santa Ana winds, this is very bad! My nephew is an Alpine firefighter -- he must be in the middle of it. Please God -- keep everyone safe!!!
