so why would they do this... are they concerned about local news overriding network produced fiction?

Approx 50 to 40 residents need assistance in moving (do not have vehicles) . . .
This just in, Rosie O'Porkchop caught eating all the donated meals for the firefighters at command center. Asked to leave.

Really weird. I almost think that maybe it's so bad this is intentional, and they just pulled coverage..... You may be right
This baby is Huge and so many homes are going to be lost. There are not enough firefighters to even try to get this uncontrol

This is really going to be a bad night for the economy of Southern California.
There's got to be homes in the Lake Arrowhead area that are 500,000 to one million a pop.
Sounds like the 1st responders think that the Arrowhead area is going to go.
Maybe this is why they pulled TV coverage...if So. Calif. heard that, it would create a massive traffic problem at the 330 and 15 areas if the people with second homes tried to defend their homes tonight.

I have been up in Santa Clarita all day, I saw the smoke of the Val Verde fire...hard to believe it ran from just behind magic mtn to Moorpark in 7 hours....I listened to the air tankers, and they said there was nothing they could do, the sundowner winds were 30mph plus. The air boss was worried about three ranch houses, the only things in that area...
what evacuation order is this? the Lake Arrowhead one?

I'm down in So. Cal visiting right now (in the Thousand Oaks area), and before the sun went down I saw both flames and large plumes of black smoke coming from what I believe are the hills around Simi Valley. Where are the fires the worst right now? .....I just got done watching the Series, so I'm a little behind on the news.
