Indeed - MEMORY. I'd bet you that her ******* of a husband doesn't want her to remember HOW she got into this situation. I suspect HE CAUSED the initial problem.

I pray that this press conference was taped and that it will be picked up by any of the major media for rebroadcast. This is exactly what Terri's family needs at this time. Felos' strategy for his client, MS, is one of image management. Thus MS's upcoming appearance on Larry King.

According to the article, he never examined Terri.

That will weigh against him since I'm sure the death mongers will be quick to point this out.

I'm a neurologist, and I've never heard of Hammesfahr. I couldn't find a single publication by him in the Medline database.

As one would expect, both sides in this issue are using "hired guns" of questionable reputation for their medical expertise.

I would like to see the results of a neurological exam from a disinterested neurologist.

There was an article in Scientific American, I believe, that documented the retraining of a person who had brain cancer and was saved by a hemisphere-ectomy. One half o the brain was excised, (left or right but the whole enchilada!).

The physical/mental therapy took a while but significant results were obtained. It is the lack of this effort by the husband, who is accused of foresaking physical therapy, which should be examined.

The old saw says that we only use 10% of our brain's capacity. Was this capability squandered, or worse still, destroyed by the husband's plan?

Well Michael Schiavo, it is pretty simple to prove your case; allow the media access to your wife over a period of a couple of weeks......after 13 years, what is a few weeks to a PVS?

Let the inlaws give it their best shot, all on camera. Let them stay with her around the clock, so as to take away all doubt that you might be slipping Terri some drugs to make sure that she does not respond....Just let the parents work with Terri and try to stimulate her. What would it hurt your case? Let them talk to her and play music for her, and let the priest try and give her communion. Let them test her to see if she can swallow....and let the cameras capture her just lying there like a rock...or, as your lawyer said, a "potted plant". That would quiet your critics rather quickly.

Open up the medical records which, you say, prove your case, and convince those of us who want to see Terri live, that she is already dead. Give full and complete access to Terri and every one of her medical records, even the ones from the night of the collapse....and the ones before her collapse so comparisons can be made.

What could you lose? If you are right, your problems would be over.
