"If you set a ham sandwich in front of her, could she eat without ANY help?...as in on her own? She may have a rudimentary ability to suck like a baby, but that is a long way from the "she can eat" claim." I've been lurking on threads concerning Terri; you have been very busy on them, haven't you. Say, what if you fell down a cliff and your body below the neck is trapped by a huge rock; you cannot move your body, you are stuck.
Your brain continues to function and feels the hunger and extreme thirst. Such extreme thirst that drove my hubby to drink dirty muddy water without the idodine tablets that landed him in a coma for three days in Nam.
Oh, but there is a way out of your misery. A group of hikers happened by and found you. They have food and water, but alas, you are not able to reach out and take what they are offering you, due to your injuries. All you can do is "suck like a baby."
Should they come to your aid and help you take some food and water until more help arrived to free you from under the rock, or disregard you totally since you cannot reach out and take the food and help yourself?
Oh I know, the person who alledgely pushed you over the edge of the cliff should have a total say in what should be done for/TO you.

I will be glad too! I bet Larry King protects him from answering any hard questions...He will believe that the poor man is being hounded and threatened with murder. You notice that Larry King didn't invite Terri's parents. The liberals and the ACLU always take the wrong side...they don't let anything ethical or moral get in their way. Schiavo and his lawyer have controlled the press for years on this case and so many in Florida believe what they read or have heard and it has only been one sided.

Then the records of the meds, at the hospital where Michael worked at the time of Terri's collapse, need to be examined.
Just want to clear up a misconception many people have here. Michael worked at a restaurant at the time of Terri's collapse. He didn't become a nurse till a few years later...

That was a nice story, you should write professionally.
Doesn't prove a dang thing, but it was a nice story.

please send this message along... Seriously, while I was praying tonight, I had the sudden thought:
Lord, regarding Terri: Thy Will Be Done.
I am not trying to rile people up. I know that we all care about Terri. But instead of praying for a specific outcome, let us ask God that His will be done. After all, He knows far more than we do about what is best for Terri, and what should happen here on the physical plane.
Sorry if I angered anyone or bummed anyone out. I don't want to alienate friends. I'm as sad and angry about what is happening to Terri as you all are. It's just... I realized tonight... we need really to ask God that His will may be done, not that our will should occur. I think that is the best prayer of all.
Goodnight, everyone. :)

Nice story? Doesn't prove a dang thing? You have NOT addressed any of my questions and your attempt at dismissing my post as a "nice story" speaks for itself.

Does she think she'll be treated any differently than Terri?
Surely, Jodi is "not Terri," and Jodi is confident that she can and has met all of Schiavo's expectations. She also MAY know the "truth." Schiavo probably "respects" Jodi more than he did Terri, who was "immature" during their brief marriage. Schiavo tried to dominate Terri, as many have testified and many others can see for themselves. I suspect that he gives Jodi more leash on the line!

You imply that it could be God's will that Terri perish at the hands of her unfaithful "husband." This could not be the "will" of God but the wish of sinful man. Why? Scripture clearly teaches that "God is not willing that ANY should perish but that all should come to the glory of God." (quote may be a little off, but the meaning is sound)

When I pray for Terri, which is all day, I always add "Thy Will Be Done". I so hope that Terri is able to go home with her family and away from the clutches of MS, but I know that God has his own plan.

Such cute little trolls! I especially love it when the pricks (unsignificant nettles) assert that those trying to save Terri's right to live are putting her through extended misery and in the next breath claim she's not conscious of anything so slow death by dehydration and starvation isn't something that would cause her anguish. Hillary Clinton's hero, Saul Alinsky, was fond of using such fallacious reasoning to frustrate any reasonable discussion that he or his socialist shills couldn't win with truth and facts.

TILL, perfect Jodi slips up and irritates dear Michael. Or gets tired of him and contemplates a divorce.

Making up fictional stories about people falling off of cliffs does nothing for the discourse here. Terri Schiavo didn't fall off a cliff, and she isn't capable of rational thought, speech, or calling for help, or asking for a supersize order of fries with that. Your premise is as absurd as it is stupid. Put some thought into the facts of this case and get back to me.

I've been thinking about this today and I am wondering who are really the ones afraid here? What harm could an independent investigation do? It could clear MS, but on the other hand if the family were right about even some of this stuff, there are going to be judges and agencies in big trouble. Are there some that don't care and just want to know the truth? I hope so. But are there also officals that just don't want to know? What do yall think?
