And because I know we are called into action, and because I know that we often never know exactly which email, phone call, protest, whatever impacts a situation, I am asking everyone who cares passionately about Terri to email larry king live and request that he balance Shiavo's visit with the other side of this story...that he ask direct and forceful questions of Michael that are backed up with information we have sent to Larry, etc.

There is biblical evidence that God has, more than once, brought confusion to the camps of His enemies. Remember Gideon? I have been praying this for over a week. That there will be confusion and fear in the enemies camp and that they will scatter and divide. After they scatter and divide they are to be pursued and their bones ground into dust and scattered so that they can rise no more ( spiritually speaking, for those who may not understand ) against us. Remeber King David?

If you do a google search on Hammesfahr and Schiavo you will come up with more info, too much to post here. It's hard to find good info in favor of Terri from non-religious or non-agendized sites.

I haven't read enough about his connection with this case to gain a sense of whether somebody is trying to discredit him or what.

As are most of us here, I am extremely skeptical of Judge Greer's objectivity. But it seems Greer all but called Hammesfahr a quack, and I think we need to look carefully into Hammesfahr's overall experience lest we be embarrassed. It may be fine for all I know, I just think it needs to be looked into.

Could she have had, umm, could she have passed out from a potassium imbalance, causing you know, falling, hitting her head, head injury. Is that what you're talking about... or are you suggesting some sort of pre-existing injury to her passing out...

Dr.Baden: Something... something totally different. That its extremely rare, for a 20-year old to have a cardiac arrest, umm, from low potassium, who has no other diseases.

Dr.Baden: So the other issue, is could it have been due to some other cause? which is raised by the family, HAS to be looked at.

Dr.Baden: That... some kind of trauma. The trauma could be from an auto accident, the trauma could be from a fall, OR the trauma could be from some kind of a BEATING that she obtained from somebody, somewhere.

Clarification. By "downside to Hammesfahr" I didn't mean to imply that he is not credible. I wish there were more professionals on Terri's side who are credible.

How about the med schools in Florida? The trauma centers? There must be some reputable physicians willing to testify.

Hmm.. I took a quick look, and it looks like he-said-she-said. He's got some kind of unorthodox approach which has apparently riled up the local health board for several years. But he says that he's never been sanctioned by the board in spite of this unfavorable attention. He could be just the maverick ahead-of-his-time pioneer Terri needs, or he could be a quack. Can't tell.

I don't think there are going to be many professionals who are going to risk their careers or reputations by speaking out in such a controversial case such as this.
