Boy, Long Cut, Beagle Cut is quite the handsome doggie. He sure is lucky to have found such a loving family who was willing and able to see to his health and welfare. And I have no doubt that Mini Cut will be using him as a pillow too.
Thanks, Long Cut, for your part in keeping America free and safe.

On more than one occasion I have been able to see the Northern Lights from the back deck. They must be seen to be believed. At times you can hear them.

Wow, wow, and wow!
Mini Cut, you are one handsome young man, and you look so happy sleeping on your Daddy's chest. You are such a blessing to your Mommy and Daddy. And thanks to your Daddy and his lads for helping make America safe for you to grow up in.

Thanks for the lanterns, Kathy. It's amazing how dark it is out here in the boonies when ALL the lights are out like they were tonight. Downright spooky....and this from a night owl! hehe!
I'm glad the power's back on now. It was downright boring. The kitties wouldn't even play with me. Still too mad at me for stinking them up with the flea spray. LOL!

Fred won my heart and then running a close second was Chelsea and her winning ways of flopping on my purse or whatever I put down. Ol' Fred has that way about him, a real sweetheart. Cleo spoils him rotten. hehe!
And Chelsea's good at flopping, anywhere she happens to be. LOL!
She's a big baby doll, she is.
As I recall Cotton's spaz-out, he not only hit the door frame but also the table leg, and the dishwasher - - twice! I was afraid he'd never forgive us for laughing so hard at him! Who'd a thunk such a slug would be such a scaredy cat? And that he could move so fast?!! ROTFLMAO!
This is how I usually see him. It's what he's doing right now.

ME? Sleep in the dark?! *snicker*
It was kinda neat seeing it so dark outside. TVA hasn't done this around here for a long time. Hopefully they got everything done that needed doing....I wouldn't want this to become a regular occurrence.
