And did anybody catch the death guru's "hypnotic" gaze into the camera in the initial shot? What was he trying to do, hypnotize us all into buying Michael's performance?
I see that he is also making an effort to discredit Terri's family.

Yea, I am watching. He says he gave her rehabilitation the first three years -- more than should have been expected in her state. He mentioned the trip that he took to CA for experimental surgery. He says Mr. Schindler started the family break by demanding money from Schiavo over the settlement. He says he was "close" only to Mrs. Schindler among Terri's family.
Thus far, King is pretty much a facilitator for Schiavo. He already seems convinced that Terri is a "vegetable" who has not talked for 13 years.

My impression so far:
The "husband" is well spoken and comes off as reasonable, but firm.
Larry King question: What is the current medical state of Terry:
Michael Schiavo: She's in a chronic persistent vegetative state.
When the Schlinders show a snippet of Terry, remember there's four-and-one-half hours of Terry where you're missing 3/4 of the other tape where Terry does nothing.
The nurses have even testified at trial that Terry makes those noises when Terry is not even in the room.
Lawyer: Terry has the classic symptoms of a patient in a vegetative state.
*** and he goes on and on. He's trying to sell her vegetative state a little too much, IMO.

He claims whatever 'noises' terri makes are done even when no one is in the room. Attorney describing her vegetative state now. Paraphrasing attny -- Patients in vegetative state may occasionally smile, shed tears and these motor activities lead people to misunderstand.
