Would Hospice of the Florida $uncoast news count for breaking news on the new thread you are proposing? I'm waiting for a REALLY BIG STORY (read SCANDAL) to break on that front.

If I were you, I'd wait for it to break, do a separate thread and then ask iowaforfreedom (something like that) to put the link on the Terri Update thread for you.

Wesley J. Smith is a senior fellow at the Discovery Institute and an attorney and consultant for the International Task Force on Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide. He is the author of Forced Exit: The Slippery Slope from Assisted Suicide to Legalized Murder."
This was an outstanding book on the topic of Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide. I reviewed it for American Partisan, and changed my legal papers because of it.
If anyone wants to understand more on this issue, get your hands on the revised copy of Wesley Smith's book! It was chilling!

Meanwhile, just post any of your thoughts or idea there, like what we have been doing all along on these longer threads.

We were informed at the Vigil that Greer was a democrat. Someone needs to go another search of Greer's record as Pinellas County Commissioner to determine once and for all his party affiliation. Some freepers are posting bad information whether it's on purpose or not.
Then there are the Michael Schiavo freepers. It's best to not engage them if you think you've run across one.

"He won't let CNN go in and take video of Terri" He's concerned about her privacy, don't ya know? Another instance in which he wants it both ways....she knows absolutely nothing about anything going on around her, but he is concerned for her privacy. WRONG ANSWER. Try again Michael.

"He's insinuating that the father wants him killed!!!!!!!" He didn't say that Terri's dad made the guy an offer though, did he? It wouldn't surprise me to learn that he'd had several offers to do it for free. I'm not advocating it, mind you. I'd much rather see him live and be proven wrong about Terri, whether he had anything to do with it or not.
He's throwing this off-the-wall stuff out there because he just wants some of these whackos to get hold of that idea and run with it so he can get the attention off of him. That is the only logical reason for putting it out there. Just shows how low class he really is, raking Terri's parents over the coals that way. It just made him look mean and nasty....I'm trying to look at it through the eyes of someone who hasn't really been following the story closely.

"Why is he not taking her out of state as one caller asked, where laws are more liberal?" Seems I read in the midst of some of the legal mumbo jumbo on one of the threads that he could not legally remove her from the state. Makes sense to me or he probably would have.
