Interesting the way they worded the question don't you think? That poll needs some serious FReeping!
Y'all, see PC's link in post #1740.

The vast majority of responders are siding with Michael Schiavo and the ACLU. This is so sad. God help Terri.
To: sweetliberty
Also, I will post the Terri thread later on tonight for the purpose of keeping all updates on Terri and her case in one place and then update it daily. Thank you so much sweetliberty for keeping us informed and the updates together on a thread. It can get real confusing keeping up!*sigh*

"No lie!"
Which of your statement did this apply to? I need help in sorting it out from the other stuff.
BTW, MY research abilities are well intact and frequently used, on a wide range of subjects. And, when I research things, I know were I got the info.
Why do you refuse to tell me where you got yours? I'd simply like to look at the source material myself.
To: atruelady
Atruelady, if Lurker was really learned in the ways of attorneys, he/she would realize that suing ANYONE and EVERYONE who is in any way attached to the defendant is commonplace. It's a CYA tactic used by trial lawyers.

Very interesting about the house being accessible or not accessible. VERY INTERESTING! I wish someone would look into that.
By the way, what's up with that statement Michael Schiavo made about Mr. Schindler not reporting a death threat made against him by some prisoner. Did you hear that? I wonder how many death threats the Schindler's have received.
To: pc93
WOW pc93, that is probably MS motive!! A BOOK DEAL ....that will net him millions.!!!!

""this is not about the right to die, it is about the right to KILL!'Very important point and one that should be repeated often. This could be MY daughter, or YOURS. We must NOT allow this evil precedent to be set!

Ol' Mikey said that on LKL last night, the puke.
I wish to God FoxNews would dig harder into this whole thing. All the different polls taken is indicative of an uninformed public. Maybe even more indicative is how little life itself is valued anymore.

Good responses, but now that I think about it, seems to be somewhat weak in comparison with what happened last night on Larry King Live. It seems MS et al have all the power, PR and legal muscle on their side and Terri's side has a few kind-hearted loving people sticking up for her. It's kind of interesting. Now would be a good time for Jesus to come back.

Did you know he had her engagement and wedding rings melted down and made into a ring for himself?-------
I have not seen that before... that is truly low!

"Maybe even more indicative is how little life itself is valued anymore." Sad to say, but we took that plunge into the abyss with Roe v. Wade.

Did you know he had her engagement and wedding rings melted down and made into a ring for himself? That's in the transcript.Which transcript? That is pretty bad!

"I think Felos has been funneling cash back to Michael Schiavo." Or investing it to generate some income for the both of them?

According to Terri's father, 15 doctors that have examined Terri have said that she is NOT vegetative. After seeing her father on TV, and listening to him, and reading his quotes, I don't trust a word he says. To me, this seems like he got upset that he didn't get any cash out of the settlement, and now this whole mess is simply a control struggle with the parents using her as a pawn.
To: Normally a Lurker
You're welcome, Lurker. My pleasure. Felos said something about this on LKL last evening. The two docs were sued (OB/GYN and regular doc) because they never did blood work to see why Terri wasn't getting pregnant. Their theory, and I stress THEORY, is that the potassium deficiency existed prior to her collapse and if blood tests were done by either of those docs, it would have been detected and her collapse prevented. It's a nice theory and they were lucky that they had a sympathetic jury. Neither, however, establish that the potassium deficiency existed prior to her collapse.
