The field made pit stops and are back on the track...
Cameras on the track don't look good, rain is getting heavier...
Looks like a rain delay of unknown length coming up...
Cars are coming off track and onto pit lane, tarps are out on pit stalls and will be put on cars.
Hang in there! They have lights. ;-)

With the red flag for rain, does this now become a Giants-Vikings thread? ;-)

Great Red Flag interviews. I never heard so many upbeat drivers with the exception Kurt Busch. Someone should slap the whiney ittle jerk...

How many races this year has it been now where E Jr. came down on someone and made them shift to avoid being hit, and caused a wreck? This is the 5th, right? He wasn't blocking, he wasn't even clear of the car. If Elliot hadn't moved, E would have hit him. E Jr. is a hazard. You'd think after his Dad dying he'd have some sense not to put someone else at risk. I am about fed up with his crappy tactics, he's going to reap what he's sowing someday...

No comment on Nascar & rules, Thanks. ;-)
I get a kick out of the shots where he has his entire nose of his car under somebody's bumper...
I'm hoping Flash gets a chance to go off tonight in HotLanta!! Harvick looks tough.. and he's very capable of catching Matt pointswise at this pace. He's only 150 back as it stands with 3 or 4 more races... matt has to make sure he's running top 10 to 15 the last few races at worst.
The track is now being dried, it looks... Wet... But Hey, Be an optimist, the sky is half dry. Radar look encouraging. It'll be a run under the lights tonight in Ho'otLanta.
Looks like an hour or more to having a reasonable shot at making a go of it.
Light up the barbie. Pop a cold one and catch some more NFL...

<DAILY RANT>
I really liked the old racing. The guys wouldn't try to put someone into the wall like what Dale does. And I used to pull for him. Stupid announcer after the replay of Sadlers wreck said "and thats why they have restrictor plates". I disagree. If they didnt have them there would not be 42 cars held together with super glue going around in circles at 200mph. Its like a chain and when one link snaps, a bunch can go. If they got rid of plates it would put the racing back on the skill of the driver and the workmanship of the mechanics. Thats what I miss. Might as well paint an Amtrak with fancy colors and sit wand watch it pass thru your town. </DAILY RANT>

I think I'll watch the World Series instead. Yanks are at the field warming up :o)

LOL... Po' Yankees and Mr. Steinbrenner... The Marlins were for real.
Raining like the dickens at the track .. Radar is mixed at best .. looks like it may be a Monday race...

You will never know the guilt that was relieved by this race being cancelled. It was a beautiful day here today Norm. I haven't seen the official temp but the weather channel is showing 86 which is 1 degree short of the record.I got the compost spread and the garlic site spaded plus helped the Mrs mow the lawn (I checked the oil in the mower for her)
Will the race be telecast tomorrow?
