Help some of us Freepers out...why in God's name is Hollywood going after the Reagans NOW? For the love of might, the man is ill and Nancy is very frail...I do not understand any of this, but I can be honest with you in saying with certainty that I wish James Brolin and B.S. Streisand rot in eternel hell....

Here is what I wrote:
I am disgusted that you are showing an historically inaccurate movie about President Reagan. Why does CBS persist in its bias against Republicans who are no longer even a minority in America. Perhaps you think if you use shows that lie about Republicans you can help the liberals regain power. But as long as CBS pursues a campaign of knowingly smearing (especially great Americans who merely don't agree with CBS's leftist world view), I won't watch your network. Dismiss me if you will, but be aware, I represent many millions of Americans fed up with CBS and its lies.

WEASEL WORDS!!! read what they said carefully! The email says affiliates have no control in the "program content". But they DO have control on whether they broadcast the show or not!!

Let them know in no uncertain terms that if they run ads during this movie, you will boycott their products. Sponsors will go on my "Permanent Boycott" list.
"Permanent Boycott" means the corporation has engaged in activity so egregious they will never see a dime of my money again. (Needless to say, it's applied rather sparingly.) Once on my "Permanent Boycott" list it's rather difficult to get off because (to keep it manageable) I don't bother remembering how they got on, just that they're on it. General Mills was the first to earn a spot, 6+ years ago (I think); we haven't bought anything with a General Mills brand since.

Nichole:
The CBS Network will not be affected like the local stations will.
A simple public note of protest to the one comment in the movie to CBS from KOIN would suffice in my mind as a stance against what the screen writer herself called a 'made up' comment with no record of it ever being made or anything even similar.
Reagan had his problems - and those are up for discussion but this line in the movie is an outright lie and you are my CBS. I expect you to do the right thing.
Thank you
Keath Huff
