I will be contacting these outfits, and warning them that is this thing airs they will be on my "Permanent Boycott" list. "Permanent Boycott" means they have engaged in activity so egregious that they will never see a dime from me again. It also means I don't have to bother remembering how they got on the list in the first place -- so there is no way to make it up.
It's a short list so far (it's been comprised of General Mills for maybe 6 years now), so there's room for more.

ok all I JUST CALLED JACK IN THE BOX
and went to a real pr person...'splained our point
about Reagan lies and natl sponcers and told the pr lady
we WILL EFFECT SALES if J in the Box is silent to our complaints...I told her Drudge on Rush Limbaugh's show at 12 easten was bringing the thunder of truth and MANY WILL boycott the slient advertisers....her response ? said she was "pretty sure she heard of Limbaugh and Drudge but would pass the call forward" I asked for a comment and she
refused to..........I suggest we attack one advertiser HARD and use Jack In The Box.......I did JUST NOW

The Target link doesn't work. I tried to submit, but it kept putting me back into preview. So, I called my local target and asked for the manager.
I told the Target manager that not all of his customers were hip, kiberal soccer Moms who have the hots for Clinton and hate "evil" Republicans. I told him that I'd probably save some money this holiday season from boycotting the store if Target didn't pull their advertising from the movie.
The manager claimed that he was a Republican. I told him to contact his superiors and let them know about customers like me.

Do local cbs stations have to broadcast all feeds? NO!!! And, this is a HUGE point you just made! When NYPD Blue first began airing, my local affiliate didn't air it. I think this might be a good angle at which to attack, and I've considered starting a separate thread on it. Anybody with me?

I'm sending emails to them. Blockbuster better pull its sponsorship or its Hollywood Video for me from now on.

The sponsor list needs to include ALL advertisers on CBS, the network. Including Sunday NFL football. If CBS should insulate its advertisers by running the miniseries uninterrupted, they will have taken the boycott club from our hands.
I will be taking notes this Sunday during Football and any time I watch CBS shows in the future. All the advertisers will know of their impending plight should they continue to advertise with CBS.
