I've been on FR since before the bj impeachment and I can honestly say that I can't recall any Freeper ever wishing for bj's or hitlery's death.

I remember posters alluding to things that prompted warnings from others, but this was usually in the context of Arkancides, Vince Foster or Ron Brown....and in a freewheeling exchange. When one has hours to compose something for pay, different standards apply.

Mark purports to be a "professional" journalist, so an editor at the SF Birdcage Liner certainly must approve Marky's rantings. I find that pretty enlightening with regards to the "fair and balanced" credibility of this bird cage liner.

Is there some kind of hard hallucinogenic drugs floating around in the water of San fran? Is this guy kidding me with this? Let me make it as simple as possible so maybe he can understand this country a bit better; Starting in 1992 this country was attacked by terrorists who came into this country with Iraqi passports. One terrorist, the leader of the first WTC attack, was named Ramzi Yousef who came into the US ILLEGALLY with an Iraqi passport. He was detained pending a hearing and then allowed to stay at a friends house in New Jersey who was ALSO from Iraq. After him, 3 more of these mutts came here with Iraqi passports after which they tried to bring down the WTC with a van loaded with explosives. Not only was this van loaded with explosives, but also with cyanide. Luckily (or un-luckily in your thinking)the cyanide burned up in the explosion, and luckily the building did not careen sideways , which if it did, would have made 911 look like a tupperware party. These terrorists were eventually caught and sent up the river. Meanwhile, while all this was happening, the man who ran the country these mutts came from, was telling the UN to go to hell. He continued to tell the UN to go to hell over and over all the way into the next millennium, whereas the UN gave him one break after another, or "one more chance". The UN was like that guy in "One flew over the cuckoos nest" who kept saying "if you touch me one more time...just one more time..just one more time.." and he never did anything about the guy touching him. What does this mean? The UN was NEVER going to do anything! Meanwhile this Saddam was slaughtering his people by the 100`s, the 1000`s year after year (something you obviously cared not one bit about judging by your silence, probably being that Saddam was not a Republican)and it was obvious to the entire world,(except california) that this guy was completely out of his mind. Let`s not forget that this nut also invaded two countries in the past, and set off WMD before against the Kurds. So what exactly IS IT that you liberals seem to have a massive problem about? Since that first WTC attack, we`ve had our embassies attacked, our Navy attacked, of course the 911 attack, our own Pentagon attacked which was meant by the way for the White house...What is it about you, what exactly aren`t you getting here? Why is this so freggin` hard to understand? Why are you liberals constantly trying to make out that Saddam was some innocent bystander who had absolutely no connection to terrorism? Are you kidding me? The guy was the biggest terrorist on this planet! Remember, we are in a war against TERRORISM! ALL TERRORISTS GOTTA GO, NOW!! I humbly submit, here is the first part of the answer: You sift. You filter. You refine your awareness and stay very attuned and educated, yet choose what you want to let in and what you want to reject and flush away as dangerous and scarring to your heart, and you work within your range of heat and breath and love. The thing is, the conservative White House defenders are spot-on correct about one thing. I despise George W. Bush. Those names, in case you are confused, are Cheney, Rove, Card, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Ashcroft, Rice and Negroponte. I despise his Congressional allies, who have shredded their constitutional duties by refusing to investigate a variety of incredible crimes. For the record, these crimes include the fabrication of Iraq war evidence, the outing of a WMD-hunting CIA agent in an act of political revenge, and the serious questions about how four commercial aircraft fooled the entire domestic defense shield and the entire intelligence community long enough to kill three thousand people.
