Take it for what it is worth, I agree. Some of what I posted may merely reflect my personal journey. Boomers never really grow/grew up in the way our GI parents did; we tend as a generation to value the childlike aspect of our character for ever and ever. Maybe you matured in the sense to which I was referring more rapidly than I did. One thing I do know though, is that you are ill suited for diplomacy. Now, let me say this to you with the fist out of velvet glove: LIGHTEN THE F UP! JMO of course, as always.

Yeah, and they have an annoying habit of thinking the entire world cares about their own "personal journeys."

I've couched it in similar terms before, e.g.: "Baby-boomers are a generation of spoiled brats."

Not true. I'll bet I'd be a heck of a negotiator with communists or anyone else who doesn't negotiate in good faith.
