"At least when right-wingers rant, there's a point!"
SAUER, CARLA ANN, Registered Nurse, PLANT CITY
No, it's an affidavit. Testimony would involve direct examination and cross-examination, possibly redirct.
Do you have a transcript of her testimony in federal court or a deposition?
Just think -- twelve years ago, no one in this country would have believed that a sitting President would get a blow job in the Oval Office from an intern half his age while ordering troops into Bosnia.
There are more things in Heaven and Earth, Horatio
Than are dreamt of in your philosophy.
No, I have her affadvit. Do you have reason to doubt her honesty? If so, why?
Yeah, but he didn't walk around the Capitol Dome bragging about it.
-------------------------------
He's gotten this far because of the mentality of people such as you and several others on this thread.
It's illegal to file a knowingly false affadavit.
It seems the author interviewed Ms Sauer. 'Iyer' may be her newer, married name.
I think the case stinks to high heavan, and I also think that his guardianship should have been revoked the moment that he became engaged to another woman.
I just don't think he was able to get this far, fool so many people for so long, by being a complete idiot and bragging in public about how happy he would be when she was dead.
How has "my mentality" enabled him to do anything?

An affidavit, as I've pointed out, is different from testimony, which you said it was. Affidavits are worthless in court because they haven't been subject to actual testimony in open court, subject to cross-examination.
I want to see if she has evidence to back up what she says. The affidavit, like a number I've read, seems full of hyperbole. Does she have any evidence to back her affidavit up--for example, copies of the entries she made into Terri's chart, which she said were removed? Does she know who removed them? How was the staff able to reconstruct the chart with her entries removed? Were the charts done on computer or were they paper charts. If do, did, for example, she only chart starting on a blank sheet of paper or did the sheet of paper entered into the chart contain entries from the prior shift personnel? If so, how does she think the nursing home personnel were able to delete her entries and reconstruct the chart? Did she have witnesses to Terri's reactions to her, and if so, who were they? Those are just a few of the questions I'd ask.
None of that is in her affidavit.
And I've seen affidavits that rival some of the finest fairy tales. Heard sworn testimony that was proven to be patently false. You know: "My son couldn't have committed the crime. He was with me all night," when sonny boy was out murdering or raping someone (and sometimes both).
That's why I'm skeptical of basing a decision on the contents of an affidavit.
CARLA SAUER IYER, R.N. Michael insisted on no rehabililtation, Terri spoke on a regular basis, Carla's detailed notes regarding Terri's responsiveness were never in the file when Carla came back on duty.
CAROLYN JOHNSON, CNA Michael refused rehabilitation, going against doctor's orders, Carolyn was not even allowed to put a cloth into Terri's hand to keep her hand from closing in on itself, because Michael considered this to be rehabilitation. We all discussed the fact that we could be fired for reporting that Terri was responsive and especially for giving her treatment.
Heidi Law, CNA testified that Terri had eaten Jello-O and drunk orange juice and apple juice, Michael refused rehabilitation, Terry had obvious cognitive awareness of her surroundings and talked, she often found her extensive notes of Terri's behavior in the trash.
Did they all lie in their affadavits? Why would they do that?
I'd want testimony in court, along with other witnesses, documentation and evidence before I could give any credibility to witness based on an affidavit.
