just...damn
Why doesn't Sue Myrick run and end this nonsense?
Vinroot for whatever reason simply CANNOT win a statewide election. Easley is very beatable...but Vinroot is terrible.

No - please don't. Nothing personal, Rich, but you suck as a candidate and I wouldn't vote for you even if you win the (R) nomination.

P.S. - you've already started down this road: you simply can't do all of the things you've just promised to do (see article above).

For whatever reason Charlotte pols do not do well in statewide elections. I wish that one of our congresscritters would give it a go, but I wish Vinroot the best.

Well, I'd say he can do one or the other. It's not likely he can do both.
It sure sounds good, but it just never seems to work out.

Well, I'd say he can do one or the other. It's not likely he can do both. Both could be done. By Vinroot? No. He is unelectable. Though to do it is virtually impossible. There isnt a dime in government spending that isnt sacred, thus not cuttable to redirect funds toward schools. Which we are spending to much on to begin with.
And studies have repeatedly shown that there is NO direct connection between smaller class sizes, higher teacher pay, and improved student learning.

You could achieve the same results by just not voting.

Granny, the whole country is counting on you Iowan's to make sure that either Al Sharpton or Carol Mosely Broad, wins your Democratic Caucases. Vinroot is a pain in our butts, but that he is small potatoes compared to the importance of what you folks do in your caucuses.
You guys have the opportunity of saddling the Dems. with their next Michael Duckakas (I don't even remember how to spell that name, but I can't get that photo of him in a Tank, out of my mind).
