This was so sad when I heard this because I've always loved Ed Harris as an actor. I had no idea he was this much of a bleeding-heart panzy.

When film director Elia Kazan, who was so bold as to "name names" in the 50s, received a lifetime achievement Oscar, Harris and his wife were among those who sat silently during the standing ovation Kazan received.

I've been boycotting this jerk and his wife and Nick Nolte who were all sitting together at the Oscars a few years ago, when Elia Kazan received his special Oscar.
These fools sat there while most others were standing, sat there with big scowls on their faces, and their hands tucked under their arms. Big protest from them. They showed themselves to be the idiots they are that night.
