HANFORD -- Bakersfield Republican Dean Gardner announced his plans Wednesday to take a second shot at the 30th Assembly District seat. In a four-stop motor home tour of the southern Valley, Gardner vowed to defeat Democrat Nicole Parra, who won the 2002 election with 265 more votes than Gardner.

Don't ask me why the reporter didn't mention the voter fraud angle (as in there were over 900 documented cases of voter fraud in this election and Parra "won" by 265 votes). Anyway, it's pretty obvious, Parra is toast. The Republicans are going to rally behind Gardner this time instead of crapping all over him as they did last time.

In addition, Parra's record will destroy her (Hint - she's been a liberal voter except when she voted conservative just to try and fool the voters). AND - get this - the democraps are putting others up to run against her in the primary.

Nicole Parra's daddy is the Chair of the Kern County Board of Supervisors and pretty much runs the County but no matter much power he has amassed, he couldn't get his daughter to be an acceptable Assembly Member.

I have personally freeped Nicole Parra several times and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. She hates my guts and the feeling is mutual. I am proud to say I believe I had something to do with her political demise. Yahoo!

I thought YOU were Parra's opponent.

LOL. I'm just her arch enemy. All democrats piss me off but this one, she's a real piece of work!

Can somebody with boots on the ground out there please tell me if this is the begining of the changes we will see as a result of Arnold's win? Or was this going to happen anyway?

Or was this going to happen anyway?

It was going to happen anyway. She dug her own grave by being a goof-ball. She screwed up on Megan's Law for goodness' sake, and they had to call a special session to save her ass. She was caught smoking a cigar with the guys during the budget battle. She PO'd a bunch of voters in the district by supporting the radical gay agenda. I could go on and on. Also, Speaker Herb Wesson appointed her to CHAIR THE VETERANS AFFAIRS COMMITTEE!! That was the most ridiculous act imaginable since she has absolutely NO experience with Veterans. How insulting! I guess the democrats thought we'd just roll over and let ourselves be screwed, with a smile on our faces. WELL, THINK AGAIN!!! The way the democraps handled their little sexy star has backfired cuz we're not as dumb as we look. Ha!

Will Cal Dooley's retirement harm her?

I don't think it makes much difference. Cal Droolie is busy drooling all over Lisa Quigley - who also worked for him - to take his place. I wonder if Nicole and he had a falling out? Probably Nicole was being groomed for Congress but she's been an embarrassing failure. (Yahoo!!)

Did anyone from the party ever explain why Gardner was not supported last time around?

He's a conservative, number one. And apparently the Gardner's did something to piss off Dave Cox which isn't hard to do. LOL! But the Republicans are backing Gardner now. I feel confident he'll be the next Assembly Member from that district. Yahoo!
