Look at how much press these 300 illegals are getting. If the gov't really wanted to crack down on illegals, they wouldn't need to "round 'em all up and deport em." They need to do more of these type of raids involving high profile companies. Then follow-up with well publicized prosecutions. Word would get out to the companies hiring the illegals, and to the illegals themselves. Stop the incentives to come here, and you will stop the illegals from coming.

which if down right is the beginning of a new trend and change in the govt. to actually put out the message especially to the likes of Vincente Fox - no more illegals will be tolerated.

The whole bunch of illegals does not to be removed to get the illegals to realize that they better go home or potentially face the same later. This alone could slow the flow across the borders by a large percentage. And this will make employers realize they cannot get away unscathed either.

Better check those documents a little closer for illegals, employers.
