What wage would they be willing to work for? If minimum wage didn't exist would they work for something less than minimum? If so, then the government intrusion into the market is as much to blame. If not, then their expectations could be to high.

My kids need jobs. They are willing to work at Walmart for the prevailing wage. Walmart did not hire them, but hired illegals. I do not argue strawmen.

You mean then, that Walmart not only violated immigration laws, but is also paying them less than citizens under the table? Or are the illegals getting the minimum wage.

In any event. The kids need jobs. Not the illegals who need to stay in their country and work to improve it.
