Like a drug dealer is an "undocumented medication vendor".

I prefer to characterize them as being in the "freelance pharmaceutical sales" field.

This is quite interesting - it seems to suggest that the union strikers at the grocery stores in SoCal might have a point about the methods WalMart is using to squeeze their employers' margins.

That, in a nutshell, is the difference. The guy not cleaning the floors at Wal-Mart is illegal. The chick who accepts used undergarments as returns is legal.

If the american isn't willing to buy from an american company then why should the company be required to hire americans! If Toyota is the best selling passenger car in the US, what is wrong if GM sources more business in China?

The knife cuts both ways!

The key to breaking the laws with impunity is to find out which ones are the PTB don't mind that you violate, like those pesky immigration laws.

Just make sure that you don't have a gun or a Bible with you. That would cancel out any government 'good will' towards you. LOL

That's not what this article says. It says that a sweep was made rounding up illegal alien employees of a cleaning company that was contracted to clean Walmart stores.

If the direct employees are illegal, they should be rounded up and deported too. This article isn't saying that is the case.

It seems they're only cracking down on illegals from Eastern Europe, and ignoring the millions from Mexico. I guess there are not enough votes in the Eastern European bloc.

I know - I was actually buttressing a point you made in an earlier post. Not a very good buttress job, as it turns out.

(But it sure is fun to say "buttress." Try it.)

Where did this quote come from? I didn't see it in the article. I stand by my position that if Walmart execs had the knowledge then both companies should be punished!

Of course it wasn't really WalMart that got busted; it was a company that does business with Walmart.

Of course

federal law enforcement officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity said Wal-Mart had direct knowledge of the immigration violations. They cited recordings of meetings and conversations among Wal-Mart executives, managers and contractors.
