Sad. I really wish I could have met him. I did... I have a picture of me with then Governor Reagan in his office in the California State Capital right next to my computer. I was 19 years old at the time.
He was gracious and humorous... and invited my group and me to come swimming at the Governor's Mansion.

I recall being 17 and unable to vote, but watching Reagan make his concession speech to Carter, I believe it was. I knew nothing about politics back then but I knew enough to say to myself, " they should have elected this man instead ". He remains one of my favorite Presidents. What a great man.

Sad. I really wish I could have met himI was lucky enough to meet hime once in San Antonio before he became president. I even got pictures. I feel very fortunate to have served under him in both SAC and Space Command. :-)

What many missed is the factual Reagan legacy and you are again,about to see it. CBS will disappear under it's current intendended structure and the ill Mr.Reagan
will have uttered not a single word,nary a word,yet,..........................................yet,
every word Reagan did utter will echo from coast to coast.
