I did see a little bit from Terri's family's news conference. Had a doctor giving his opinion of her brain scan which refutted her husbands claim that there was absolutely no brain function! I am also anxious to her an update this evening! Wish I could be told that someone who loves Terri was guarding her. I really feel that her husband will try to end her life as soon as he can! Please let us all know if she is being guarded. Thanks!!

Are her parents allowed to visit with Terri?
It is so cruel to have her lie in bed all day alone.......and I feel so unable to help her......except with prayer to God.

Her husband never claimed she had "no brain function".
A persistent vegetative state is not brain death.
There is function in the more primitive areas, allowing cycles of sleep and wakefulness, object tracking, etc.
Also people in a persistent vegetative state are not in comas. No one claimed she was in a coma.
"His" claim, supported by expert medical opinion and testimony, is that she is in a persistent vegetative state.
Keep your opposition to THIS diagnosis. Any other is a false claim and a straw argument.
