She needs 2-3 days of intensive care, then a couple of days (at least) of specialized care even to become ready for surgery to receive the tube!

you don't need surgery to reinsert the feeding tube. You can either place an NG tube or reinsert thru the previous hole... feeding tubes get clogged all the time, and have to be reinserted periodically. Even if they "sutured" the hole close, the edges would not heal closed that fast...
