"Didn't Pat Anderson try to file a divorce petition" Too bad that this wasn't done early on, instead of the Schindlers allowing the husband from hell to have guardianship. I know they have regretted that a million times. Wish there was some way they could revoke the agreement.

Yeah, see, unfortunately I don't. And, I live in mountain country - too far away to do anything.

"Has any one considered that this is a "hate crime" against the disabled? If it were covered as such, maybe some of the elderly and disabled would jump in and help us out." While the idea in the current political climate might have some merit, I think the whole premise of "hate crimes" is flawed at its root and I am concerned that doing anything to futhur it would lend validity to it and I don't think we want to help set that kind of precedent. However, there are organizations for the disabled involved and I do think we should encourage that as much as possible.

I had read that she did and it got thrown out, by guess who. Greer, of course.

It's probably best to work on getting the trust fund billing opened right now, don't you think? If any irregularity shows up IRS will probably be right their rubbing their palms.

Ewwww! You're serious? How scary - not sure if I want to go THAT way, then.

"really is coming together here in this fight" Indeed it is, and as I said on another thread, isn't it amazing that it takes such an enormous army to take out one woman who is "already dead?"

I'm NOT a memeber of AARP, and wouldn't have become one prior to Terri due to their liberal slant. I saw your comment, did a search for a chat room and got this link

It seems as if Greer is the senior "god" of the Florida court doesn't it? To my knowledge, NO decision has been made in this case that hasn't been filtered through him. I have a real problem with that. If the man had a conscience, he'd recuse himself.

you can do a public search under the civil small claims and then type in "schiavo" its on the second page. Appears to have the malprace cases too.

"Michael Schiavo will be on Larry King Live" Well, isn't that special. *Yawn* Excuse me while I go make a previous commitment.

Michael Schiavo has used about a half a million dollars that was supposed to have gone to care for Terri But CNN reported that Michael had been awarded $1.75 Million dollars. (300k was for Michael to find a new companion) and 1.45 Million was for Terri's funds.
Felos reported yesterday there is only $55K left in Terri's funds, PLUS "he and one other lawyer has not been paid for over a year".
That means ALL of the money has now 'vanished', since the outstanding bills are much greater than $55K.
To: All; longtermmemmory
darn! no guardianship stuff
just the malpractice and injuction cases.
There is the injuction attempt against Jeb Bush as governor.
To: sweetliberty
Great idea in 2260.
Maybe we can include a list of doctors, nurses, journalists, etc, who are outspoken and pro-Terri.
Another idea for Greta or other media shows, keep track of the names and articles of people who have emerged from so called vegetative states. Terri may not recover like they have but it will be powerful PR in TV interviews.
