"Terri's Bill" specifically directs the chief judge (David Demers) of the 6th Judicial Circuit Court to appoint a guardian ad litem to represent Terri "upon issuance of a stay," but he has not yet done so which Anderson views as a matter of urgency. Can this Chief Judge Demers appoint Michael Schiavo to be the guardian ad litem?

In the courts since 1990.
Feeding tube removed 4 times.
Judge Andrew Napolitano (Fox News) says that the Florida legislature, and Governor Bush have no Right to do what they did.
The Florida Supreme Court will render the Legislature's action Un-Constitutional.
So be it.

Judge Andrew Napolitano (Fox News) says that the Florida legislature, and Governor Bush have no Right to do what they did. Why did they not have the right to change the applicable law prospectively? If this law is unconstitutional for some reason, what constitutional provision did it violate?

Judge Andrew Napolitano (Fox News) says that the Florida legislature, and Governor Bush have no Right to do what they did. Some of the legislators who voted for the law said as much.
However, what this did was buy Terri time--until the law is declared unconstitutional and there's another court order to remove the tube, Terri is covered by this law and her feeding tube stays in.

I don't think the FEEDING TUBE is even in yet, is it?? Just IVs is the last I heard about. I believe it will be ASHCROFT that will be effective in running a investigation on Michael. Contact HIM IMMEDIATELY. AskDOJ@usdoj.gov.

I want to let you know what the courts definition of a Guardian Ad Litem is.
A GAL is an attorney who is appointed by a judge to investigate the situation of his ward. He/she should then put together a court memo with what he/she has learned along with recommendations and best course of action for the ward. This person must also be unbiased!!
Michael cannot be the GAL for Terri, as he is not an attorney.

Why is it that the powers that be don't find Michael's behavior insane? He's lost his mind, and is dangerous to Terri. What's so hard about that? Are they just stupid?

But what's to keep the judge (Greer?) from appointing Felos? Or one of his minions?

The party has to be totally neutral so Felos and his minions are out.
To: EggsAckley
According to the bill, Judge Greer is not the judge who gets to appoint the GAL; "Terri's Bill" specifically directs the chief judge (David Demers) of the 6th Judicial Circuit Court to appoint a guardian ad litem to represent Terri "upon issuance of a stay".
