You're assuming that attachment to a given political arrangement that is no longer in force is the equivalent of "dancing with the devil." In reality, we should be dumping buckets of holy water over the true Devil and if it takes "frivolous" lawsuits to accomplish that end, then so be it. Better that route than the status quo--or a more violent reaction which may eventually come.
