President Fox and U.S. counterpart Bush arranged for officials to hold immigration talks in Washington.
Immigration policy will be at the top of the agenda when U.S. and Mexican officials meet in Washington next month the Mexican government announced Monday.
Foreign Minister Luis Ernesto Derbez said he would meet with U.S.Secretary of State Colin Powell on Nov. 13 to "outline a timetable and very concrete actions" regarding migration policies.
Derbez told reporters the meeting was arranged when President Vicente Fox and his U.S. counterpart George W. Bush, met at the Asia-Pacific summit in Bangkok.
There was no breakthrough in that meeting. But Derbez said it served to underscore that talks on immigration face new challenges after the Sept. 11,2001, terrorist attacks against the United States.
"They talked about first operating within a different type of an agreement, not to talk about a general accord but to talk about putting the puzzle together creating the necessary structure so that we can solve the problems little by little," he said.
Derbez said Bush also invited Fox to visit his Crawford, Texas, ranch soon, although no date.
For his part, Interior Minister Santiago Creel qualified as "good news" the inclusion of the migration agenda of the upcoming meeting.
At the meeting, Creel said, Mexico plans to advocate the normalization of the migration status of undocumented Mexicans living in the United States.
The Fox administration will also urge Washington to increase the number of visas granted to Mexico to boost guest worker programs and bolster protection for the human rights of undocumented immigrants in the United States.

Private Citizen would like to suggest that Fox and Bush trade jobs. The Fox would do a better job guarding the henhouse on this side of border. Indeed. Fox makes sure Mexico's immigration and borders are tightly controlled. Bush apparently has a difficult time comprehending the concepts of Borders and Sovereignty.

The corrupt Mexican officials obviously have their long list of demands, they'll tell us how many of their unwanted citizens we're to take off their hands each year and what the terms will be ---- is this all one-way? Do our leaders ever speak up and tell them "no" to anything? Do we ever make any demands that they improve their own economy so that some of their citizens could stay home?

Here is the link you wanted.
http://www.el-universal.com.mx/pls/impreso/web_histo_nacion.despliega?var=96776&var_sub_actual=a&var_fecha=14MAY-03 The title is "Vendra Bush en noviembre" which means Bush will come in November. The introduction confirms that this was said by Bush's father. In the first paragraph it says that Bush's father told them about the meeting yesterday, which was May 13. Also this article said that the meeting would be in Mexican territory. So far as I know they are meeting at the Crawford ranch. The first article I read in May said they would meet at the white house.
So as I said, this "reunion" was planned in May by GH Bush. If you recall in May we were all down on France and Mexico for their non-support of the U.S.
Actually, 2 meeting have been set for November. One for Bush and Fox at Crawford Nov. 4-6 and the other Powell, Rice and Derbez Nov. 11-12 in Washington.

Don't tell that to all the FR cheerleaders.
Maybe El Bush should land another jet plane to distract everyone.

Foreign Minister Luis Ernesto Derbez said he would meet with U.S.Secretary of State Colin Powell on Nov. 13 to "outline a timetable and very concrete actions" regarding migration policies. interesting, but I think that the only "outline" that should be discussed is the number of cattle cars in each trainload headed south.
They talked about first operating within a different type of an agreement, not to talk about a general accord but to talk about putting the puzzle together creating the necessary structure so that we can solve the problems little by little," he said.
We can solve the problem right now! Get the f~(& out!

"Millions of Republicans will leave the party if Bush doesn't put a stop to this insanity."
They sure will. I already have. I re-registered with the Constitution Party. The Republicans keep on sending me requests for contributions. I either burn them or write all over them how they are traitors and giving our country away and betraying me and my future generations. I got two such requests today. One from Bush (with a photograph of him and his wife...I still like his wife but he's a traitor) and one from Cheney. I will write letters and send them back telling them that they have a hell of a nerve to ask me for money when they are selling our country out. I am going to suggest that in the future they send these requests for money to ILLEGAL ALIENS since ILLEGAL ALIENS would seem to be more important to them than ME AND MY FAMILY. We can't trust our own government. We shouldn't have to beg and beg and beg that they do the right thing by us. It's absolutely sickening. Any country with an ounce of sanity and loyalty to its citizens would have closed the borders IMMEDIATELY after 9/11...like the afternoon of 9/11. All of this is quite sinister and extremely unsettling. It means the end of the United States of America that I was born in, grew up in and now am growing old in. There will BE NO United States of America for my daughter and my granddaughter to thrive in. It's all about to be lost.
