There could be a constitutional crisis based on jurisdiction -- but it need not come to that.
As I repeatedly point out, the Nuremberg principle validates the point of view of most non-elitists when it comes to protecting innocent human life.
Unconditional protection for innocent human life was still the overriding principal paradigm when Terri was first struck down in 1990. Medicinemen was still pretty much governed by the Hippocratic oath. All this hoopla about needing a living will would have been pretty much moot back then -- the courts would have sided with her parents because the husband's position was still outside the pale then. Terri would have expected it to be as such back then, Michael's self-serving testimony to the contrary well-noted in a none Lewis Carroll world.
Our society's "Progressives" have incrementally got us here -- and they have gone, IMHO, a step too far. I think I would love to see the courts try to reverse this latest effort -- just as long as they keep the feeding tube inserted until at least the case gets to SCOTUS.
As to: what is the next step in defending Terri? Well, here's the battle field.
We have the sense of the people still up in arms over the ninth circuit court's striking of the Pledge Of Allegiance, a Federal judge's demolishing of Justice Roy Moore's 10 Commandments, and the Leftists seething to try and abort the partial birth abortion ban Congress just passed after years and years of the deathists' obstructionism. And now we have in this case. Where witting and unwitting agents of the bloodthirsty global elites have been fighting tooth and nail, through their kindred in philosophy and remoteness, our autocratic courts, to try and starve to death a poor disabled women over the wishes of her heartbroken parents. In the face of all this a Governor has led his state's legislature -- in spite of themselves -- to act against the excesses of courts that have gotten way out ahead of the curve on basic human decency and ethics.
And Judge Napo thinks it is the courts who are the injured institution? ROTFLMBO at his unmitigated gall!
Well, I would think it best to answer your question by falling back on a great president's fighting words in the face of moral marshmallow-spined global cowards:

Dear Governor Bush,
I thank you for everything you did on Teri Schiavo's behalf.I know that you went to great lengths to help avert the horrible death of a disabled woman by judicial decree.
I will never forget that you did.
I am also sorry that it took the frantic intervention of the Executive and Legislative branches of my state government to save her and possibly other disabled people, not yet brought to the attention of the public, from the judicial branch.
I remain very proud that we have you as our Governor.
Thank you!

Sheesh -- I just heard O'Reilly repeat what I said about the current state of mind of the people regarding the courts. I demand writers' fees! The only thing he added that I had left out was the people's response to the rump-9th circuit decision in their attempt to stop the California recall.

To Jeb:
Good work, Governor. You have pulled through with considerable strength on a very important case. If Terri ever awakens, I only hope that she'll thank you.
This was a very risky decision, but I believe that you did the right thing. If you ever run for president, I hope that you'll be this bold every time. If you can do that, you DEFINITELY will have my vote.

(I love the smell of winning, the taste of victory, and the joy of each glorious triumph)
Dear Gov. Bush, I thank you with all my heart for saving Terri's life. I remember the days when "extraordinary means" meant a heart machine or respirator. Now the liberals have carried it to mean basic sustenance. Now they use "allowing to die" as a pc term for euthanasia. And death by dehydration is a very brutal form of it. Thank you for supporting the dignity of a less than perfect type of life, and for acting on your knowledge that mercy killing is the opposite of merciful.
Now that you have saved Terri, please, in God's Name, free her! Free her from the silence imposed upon her, by Judge Greer's refusal to have the nature of her true condition as her public record. Free her from the abuse of not having adequate medical care, personal care, and rehabilitation. Free Terri from the grip of evil that keeps her a prisoner, and prevents her from reaching her potential. Please conduct a complete investigation of her whole case, which involves so many twists and turns, relationships, and agendas.
Lastly, please give this poor, abused, and trampled upon young woman the justice she deserves. Give the Schindlers justice. Give justice to all of those who have fought, voted, and prayed for Terri. In the sight of God, our country, and the world, give Terri her vindication.
God bless you.
