[history]
When CBS announced earlier this year it was producing a television movie on the life of Ronald and Nancy Reagan, warning flags shot up. The part of Mr. Reagan was given to none other than James Brolin, husband of Reagan-loathing Democratic diva Barbra Streisand. The producers, Neil Meron and Craig Zadon, freely acknowledged their liberal views but insisted the biography would be fair.

I agree with your sentiment but whether Reagan is loved is not the issue, it is whether the truth is being told. It is not, and that lack of truth should bring the outrage.

It is very important not only to email CBS, but also let your local CBS affiliate's General Manager know that you will be
DELETING that affiliate's Ch# from your tv listings set-up.
CBS has a page listing every affiliate in the USA and a clickable url.
I posted it in another thread, and will try to find it and repost it here as well.
It's important that we scare not only "BlackRock" in NYC, but also the local affiliate GM whom TPTB @CBS truly listen to.

This was my note to CBS:
"When CBS announced earlier this year it was producing a television movie on the life of Ronald and Nancy Reagan, warning flags shot up. The part of Mr. Reagan was given to none other than James Brolin, husband of Reagan-loathing Democratic diva Barbra Streisand. The producers, Neil Meron and Craig Zadon, freely acknowledged their liberal views but insisted the biography would be fair. Now the New York Times has obtained a copy of the final script and, sure enough, the film includes several scenes that the Times calls "historically questionable."It is pathetic that the one time "Tiffany Network" would produce then broadcast crap like this. You know you are in trouble when the NYT is voicing their opinion against liberal work. And "trouble" is what you will get as we WILL be protesting outside your studios when this garbage is put on our airwaves!
