Hope that you'll be at the Pershing Park FReep. Your Saddam Hussein may thank the leftists for trying to return him to power and re-open his torture chambers.
Recall last February(?). Pershing Park is an awesome place to FReep the left-wing flotsam and jetsam as they slither by, turning the corner at the edge of our position. We're up on a hill with buildings on the other side of Penn Ave reflecting the sound of FReepers chanting. ANSWER will be goose stepping into the FREEPER ECHO ZONE.

I'll be with you in spirit and look forward to your after-action report.

I took note of the fact that the folks from protestwarrior.com state on their website that they will be gathering in the same locale as the DC Chapter tomorrow morning. At that point, they seem to be planning to 'engage' the ANSWER crowd at another location. Are you familiar with these guys? The protest signs, bumper stickers, and t's they have posted at their site are excellent! (NewsMax sent out a link to their site several days ago. ProtestWarrior mentions FR and the rally on their site.)

Don't these antiwar nuts know they are playing in a park named after a war god???
One of America's most famous Army officers, Pershing was born in Missouri on September 13, 1860. He graduated from West Point in 1886 and served in the Spanish-American War, the Philippines Insurrection, the Mexican Expedition and was the overall American Commander in Europe during World War I. Following the war, he served as Army Chief of Staff.
He died at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington on July 15, 1948. His funeral service, one of only a handfull ever held at the Memorial Amphitheater in Arlington National Cemetery, was attended by literally thousands of American citizens as well as by the leaders of government and the military. He was buried, as was his wish, under a simple white gravestone in Section 34 of Arlington National Cemetery, near the gravesites of his "Doughboys" from World War I.
