Another chance for Posada...

Back in the day, third base was the cursed position of the Mets.
Knobluch's fade was as sudden as it was shocking. What mobster was rubbed out and buried under second base?

Posada and Giambi have become Mr. and Mrs. UN-CLUTCH.

Posada and Giambi have become Mr. and Mrs. UN-CLUTCH. I think Posada is close to the team lead for postseason RBIs. And if he had whiffed on that last Pedro pitch, we'd be watching the Red Sox in the World Series. True, Pedro was tiring, but you still have to come through, something the Yankees weren't doing all year when behind. He was as clutch as you can be against a guy who had his number (Pedro). I'm much more concerned with Giambi and Soriano. Posada can do more by calling a good game behind the plate and preventing Marlins from stealing.

He's having an excellent post-season. Damn, I wish he would've made it home.

Hell I've been listening to my CD collection on Winamp throughout most of the game. *L* TV is muted.

I mean there's nothing there... when a fly ball is hit, there's a long pause... there's no... "ddeeeeeeeeeeeeep fly ball, back goes Matsui, to the Wall! Diving catch!" Instead "hit.... caught"...

Mussina makes a great play to knock down a ball at the mound. Reminds me of Tim Worrell's play vs. these same Marlins in the NLDS.

I still don't understand how Knoblauch could fade so fast. He's completely out of baseball now. Sad.

Am I the only one who thinks that these announcers suck... Big Time? No, they're completely awful. Who does like these Fox announcers, other than their employers?
To: TrappedInLiberalHell
I wonder if they will pinch hit for Mussina if a runner gets on.
