Activists Protest McNabb's Poor Performance; Say He Lends Credence To Limbaugh Many Philadelphia Eagles fans are disappointed after quarterback Donovan McNabb's relatively poor performance in today's game against the New York Giants; his low quarterback rating for the game and several misfired and/or sloppy passes are to blame, they say. But there are also those who are disappointed for different, more political reasons. "Donovan McNabb had no right to perform badly in today's game," said Richard Sleaner, member of the People Against Racist Remarks organization (PARR), at a press conference held shortly after the game. "His playing validates the disgusting racial slurs of Rush Limbaugh, and thus makes McNabb a racist as well." Sleaner was referring to Limbaugh's comments last month dismissing McNabb as overrated, especially due to his race. Some took issue with the comments, but others claimed they weren't defensive because Limbaugh was simply stating the truth. But for Sleaner and the rest of PARR, there is no question that Limbaugh is a "disgusting racist, slanderous pig". "Rush Limbaugh clearly hates black people and everything that they stand for," Sleaner stated. "He practically said that he wants a return to slavery, and that he would personally like to own several black slaves for himself. Go join the KKK, Rush!" Even worse, if McNabb does not improve his performance, he will be no better than Limbaugh, according to Sleaner. "I can't believe Donovan would even think of making Rush appear to be correct in his racial slurs," Sleaner said in disgust. "What kind of man is this? If his performance doesn't improve, PARR will be forced to brand him as a racist." But many of McNabb's teammates say that he is anything but a racist. "I've never heard Donovan say anything bad about white people," said one receiver. "He likes them just fine." When our reporter clarified that he was talking about McNabb being racist against blacks, the receiver appeared confused. "Well, I don't think he hates black people, either," he said carefully, "on account of that he is one. A black person, I mean." Sleaner was not dissuaded by these comments, however. "That sure sounds like more racist propaganda to me," he sighed. "I guess McNabb has filled the entire Philadelphia Eagles with his racial slurs and commentary." There are some, however, who don't that McNabb -- and Limbaugh, for that matter -- are racist at all. "I don't think there's anything racist about stating a simple fact that's apparent to anyone," said a Philadelphia woman. "If McNabb is overrated, and if his race is a factor in that, well, that's just how it will have to be. I don't --" The woman was then cut off because she was knocked unconscious by a bottle thrown at her head by Sleaner, who yelled, "Keep your racism and your racist hate crimes out of Philadelphia!" and fled the scene. |
The way some people it could be true.
I bet if you put it on official letterhead and faxed it to the reputable news organizations, cbscnnabcnbcetc, somebody would pick up the story.
Sir Gawain loves doing this... ;o)
Now if the miserable commie could just hit a decent post pattern...
During the Eagle's game against the Redskins, the Washington QB was hit as he released the ball. It fluttered about 15 feet into the air and right to an Eagles lineman, who ran it in for a touchdown. I was watching the game with my cousin, and commented that the Eagles finally were able to complete a short touch pass.
Not only that, but he also gropes women and lies about Iraqi WMD capabilities.
Holy Cow, I haven't heard about this, he should be forced to resign.
